This sensitive, intimate documentary tells the story of Aïcha and Mabrouk, the director's grandparents, who arrived in the small town of Thiers from Algeria over sixty years ago.
After 62 years together, they decide to separate.
This split prompted their granddaughter to retrace the long path of exile, between silence, memory and transmission.
The screening will be followed by a debate, an opportunity to discuss the film's themes and share a convivial moment.
