Dl Bd Ld Baladecoldesuarasartene Jpeg 16Hike from Sartène to the Col de Suara on the ancient path linking Porti-Vechiu to Sarté. Beautiful portions of this ancient route are still visible along the way. Return via the small D50.
🌿At the end of the path, you’ll enjoy a fragrant walk in the heart of wild nature where the maquis is dense. 🌿 From the parking lot, turn left and the path climbs gently, passing beneath beautiful olive groves.

A few metres further on, pass the washhouse with its two half-filled tubs and continue up to the D50. Most of the route is shaded.
Superb panoramic views of Sartène and the Aiguilles de Bavella. Take the D50 to the right to reach the Col de Suara. Continuing a little further downhill, reach the viewpoint over the Ortolu valley (orientation table). Opposite is the summit of Uomo di Cagna, recognizable by its rocky chaos
Come back the way you came.

🏴 From Sartène, from the Bassacciu municipal parking lot, locate a path to the left of the entrance, which overlooks it. At the entrance to this path is a signpost indicating this Strada Antica. Take it and follow it to an imposing gate.
