Sleep in the Senetosa lighthouse

Senetosa lighthouse (sleep)

Discover this treasure hidden along the coastal path from Tizzano to Campomoro. Take a tour of this unusual site and be amazed by its beauty.

A night lulled by sky, sea and legends

A refuge for hikers

The Senetosa lighthouse, located near Campomoro, dominates the Tyrrhenian Sea from a rocky promontory. Built in 1857, it offers spectacular views of the rugged coastline of southern Corsica and the surrounding islands. Accessible via a picturesque and sublime path along the coastline, the Senetosa lighthouse is a unique place for nature lovers and hikers.

It is the only lighthouse that is also a refuge for hikers. Spending the night in this building with its breathtaking views of the horizon and the steep cliffs is an unforgettable experience for those in search of solitude and unusual moments. The Senetosa lighthouse refuge is also a symbol of the wild, unspoilt beauty of the island’s southernmost tip, making it a unique place to stay for those looking for a getaway in the heart of nature.

A preserved site, a passionate team

For more than 25 years, the Campomoro Senetosa site has benefited from special attention as a result of a dynamic conservation policy supported by the ELISA syndicate (municipalities of Belvédère, Campomoro, Grossa and Sartène).
A passionate team watches over these exceptional areas throughout the year, managing them with care and commitment. This preservation approach is accompanied by ambitious, practical initiatives: the restoration of the historic towers of Campomoro and Senetosa, the upkeep of 60 km of footpaths and bridleways, the protection of the dunes of Roccapina and Cala Barbaria, the reopening of the Senetosa lighthouse and the creation of a welcoming refuge. The development of parking areas, the introduction of careful signposting and the fight against unauthorised camping mean that visitors can enjoy an unspoilt natural setting that respects the environment. This commitment to sustainable tourism invites everyone to discover Corsica’s natural heritage while helping to preserve it, for the enjoyment of future generations.
