The polyphonic art centre is offering a traditional singing workshop with Laurent Bruschini.
At the Médiathèque /de Petreto-Bicchisano every Thursday from 2pm to 4pm.
Aims
To democratise the practice: open up traditional singing to all, regardless of level or musical background, in a spirit of access to culture.
Free for all.
Awareness-raising and artistic education: to enable a wide audience to gain a better understanding of the roots, techniques and richness of this ancestral secular or sacred vocal art.
Passing on our heritage: creating intergenerational spaces so that tradition is nurtured in the present and continues to live on in the future.
Social and regional cohesion: to make singing a common language and a vehicle for social cohesion through a wide network of local venues. The aim of this initiative is not only to preserve an intangible heritage, but also to anchor it in contemporary society by encouraging a shared, lively and inclusive practice.
