Screening of the documentary film "Une des mille collines", directed by Bernard Bellefroid, followed by a discussion with the audience.
This poignant film looks back at the genocide of the Tutsis in Rwanda through the intersecting destinies of three children whose lives were turned upside down in 1994.
It interweaves memory, justice (particularly the Gacaca trials) and reconstruction, in a village where victims and former perpetrators are trying to learn to live together again.
A powerful and sensitive work about resilience, forgiveness and collective memory.
The screening will be followed by a debate with the Fas'Arte association, before a convivial spuntinu.
For the Spuntinu: bring whatever you'd like to share.
Admission free.
