The Sollacaro library is screening the documentary Tu n'es pas seule, directed by Julie Perreard.
The film looks at the "colleuses" movement, a group of women who take over public spaces by posting slogans and testimonies on walls to denounce violence against women.
In Bastia, Ajaccio and elsewhere in Corsica, these messages pasted on walls, roadsides or in the streets call out to passers-by and give visibility to words that are too often hushed up.
Through these collective actions, the documentary shows how women are reclaiming public space to express their anger, their solidarity and their desire to change attitudes to sexist and sexual violence.
The screening will be followed by a discussion with the director, Julie Perreard, and a debate on the film and the 'colleuses' movement, before continuing with a spuntinu, a convivial moment for continuing the discussions and sharing together.
For the Spuntinu: everyone is invited to bring what they would like to share.
Admission is free.
