Hailing from the Alta Rocca and Sartenais regions, the associu Alcudina was formed in 2018 in Santa Lucia di Tallà to pass on its cultural heritage through song. This association project quickly became a group of seven singers and musicians.
Their eponymous album blends powerful vocal harmonies, bandoneon, classical guitar and percussion, creating a rich universe that draws on legend, history and present-day society.
Driven by a deep love of Corsica and a great respect for its elders, Alcudina are passionate defenders of the Corsican language, culture and heritage. Their music seeks to reinvent the future without denying its roots, building new walls on solid foundations.
