Description:
John is a young teenager who decides to stop time.
He stages his suicide so that his family will have a record of his act.
He films himself and expresses his malaise to the camera's empty eye, in a message addressed to his parents and sister.
It's a long, disjointed message that he has no intention of letting his family hear.
Because, as he repeats, he will erase all traces of what he is recording, sending the distress and rage he is expressing back to the nothingness of the death he is about to join.
Why do a generation of teenagers choose to kill themselves, and why is this question so absent from our theatres?
This adolescent drift is the product of "intolerance towards oneself, disgust with one's own life, the unfathomable grief of silent humiliation...".
