Jean Paul Poletti et le choeur d'hommes en concert

The church of La Misericorde in Propriano welcomes Jean-Paul Poletti & the Chœur d'hommes de Sartène for a concert of polyphonic songs. Tickets on sale at the tourist office, on site and online. The Sartène Men's Choir was founded by Jean-Paul Poletti in 1995. Made up of 5 men, the group is constantly inventing new musical spaces in classical form, nourished by the past but inspired by the present day. The choir has an unusual place in Corsican music, its classically-trained singers giving a distinctive sound to traditional polyphony. The group's different repertoires oscillate between the secular and the sacred, trying to convey emotion, an idea of the Corsican soul and the mysteries of the island - in short, what is invisible to the eye. Since 1995, they have been performing all over the world and on the most important stages (Mexico, China, Korea, the United States, Austria, Belgium, Russia, etc.), trying to convey a part of themselves to the public.
