As part of the 10th edition of the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days) on 20 and 21 September, the commune of Arghjusta Muricciu is celebrating its territory with the Festa di i Sensi.
Every year, a theme is chosen to reflect the richness of the Taravo region, with workshops, conferences, exhibitions, walks, tastings and concerts, as well as a market featuring local producers.
On the programme:
Saturday 20 September:
Open day for the general public
9.00am - Opening of the Days and Market.
- Presentation of the Feast project Presentation of the Feast project.
- Conference on the history of food from prehistory to the 21st century.
Speakers: the Feast project partners, Hélène Paolini Saez, Fabien Gaveau, Vannina Lari.
12:00 - Culinary demonstrations of Mediterranean cuisine by chefs, accompanied by a tasting of Albanian, Provençal and Corsican wines by sommelier Raphael Pierre.
13:00 - Catering on site.
2.30pm - Guided tour of the heritage interpretation centre by Fabien Gaveau.
4.00 pm - Plant identification walk along the village paths with Francesca Desideri.
5.00 pm - Presentation of the Feast Project.
6.00 pm - Signing of the guide to the village's heritage by its authors.
19h00 - Culinary demonstrations of Mediterranean cuisine by chefs.
Tasting of Mediterranean wines by sommelier Raphael Pierre.
8.00 pm - Aperitif dinner, catering on site.
9.00 pm - Traditional Corsican and Mediterranean songs.

Laboratoire Régional d'Archéologie Corse.
- Presentation of virtual walks through the village with a digital map by the CAUE.

You can discover the village's heritage on foot, in a horse-drawn carriage or on a scooter.

Open day for the general public dedicated to agroforestry and the "EcoMuntagna" label.
08:30 - Hike around the "I Stretti Muntagnoli" mountain interpretation trail (departure from the town hall), with the option of a 4x4 tour for those unable to make the hike.
10.30am - Presentation of the management and development plan for the municipal forest by the ONF, the CRA and the municipality's various partners.
- Presentation of the "EcoMuntagna" label.
12:30 - Catering on site Apéro Spuntinu.
