When Tafiti, a young meerkat, meets Mèchefol, an exuberant and friendly bushpig, he knows they can never be friends. Life in the desert is full of dangers, and Tafiti has always respected the essential meerkat survival rule: never get involved with strangers. But when his grandfather is bitten by a poisonous snake, Tafiti has no choice.
