Above and beyond the beauty of the site nestling in the heart of unspoilt nature, the Cauria site is above all a veritable archaeological treasure trove containing fascinating Neolithic remains that bear witness to the ancestral history of the Valinco Sartenais region. Notable discoveries include menhirs and megalithic sites, reminders of the presence of ancient civilisations that have been rooted in this landscape for millennia. These remains are an integral part of the surrounding nature and add a unique historical dimension to the region. Cauria is a special place, where you can travel through time in the footsteps of our ancestors.

Located in the commune of Bilia, just ten minutes from Sartène, the thousand-year-old site of Alò Bisujè welcomes you every day except Monday, from May to September. Saveria and François Sampieri are working to develop this historic site, a family plot of land containing the remains of a remarkable island heritage. Initially discovered in the 1960s by renowned archaeologist Roger Grosjean, this unique site plunges us into the ancestral history of Corsica and its inhabitants, more than 3,000 years ago!
