When Fred asks his ex-wife, Marguerite, to have their marriage annulled in church so that they can remarry, she is delighted to see him rebuild his life. But what was supposed to be a simple formality turns out to be more complicated than expected, and will take them all the way to Rome with their children and their new spouses. It's a colourful journey for all the members of this blended family.
