Molière's famous play L'Avare will be performed over two evenings at the Cité Scolaire Georges Clémenceau, with Marie Aurel, Gabriel Benedetti, Marc Benedetti, Sylvie Cinotti, Faustine Leconte, Christian Luciotto and Anthony Rivoire. L'Avare, a comedy written by Molière in 1668, offers a biting satire of avarice and the excesses of self-love through the burlesque adventures of Harpagon, an obsessive miser, and his family.
