Description
The media library welcomes Nancy R. Lange, a Quebec author in residence in Corsica, for a talk on contemporary poetry from Quebec.
An acclaimed poet, she is the author of many books, including Le manteau de Freya, Trajectoires / Traduire les lieux, Par la fenêtre and Les Cantiques de l'eau.
The winner of several literary awards, including the Grand Prix littéraire Le Nord in 2013 and the Prix de la chronique littéraire in 2017, she has also received support from the Conseil des Arts et Lettres du Québec and the Canada Council for the Arts.
She has toured extensively in France, Iceland, Sweden, Chile, Mexico, Japan and Canada.
A member of the Parlement des écrivaines francophones, the Union des écrivains et écrivaines du Québec and PEN-Québec, she is also founder of the R.A.P.P.E.L. movement and director of the journal Femmes de parole.
On this occasion, she will be presenting a special issue produced with A Casa di a Puisia devoted to exchanges between Corsican and Quebec women poets.
