Getting there
🚶‍♂️Au departure from the city centre

An easy trail

From the port, walk along Propriano’s marina. After the junction with Rue des Pêcheurs, turn left onto Chemin des Beaches. In just a few minutes on foot, you’ll be in the heart of nature.

This path is ideal for everyone: gentle walkers, runners, cyclists, scooters, etc. It’s flat and shady, perfect even for those who “never walk”.

🌿Landscapes of turquoise sea and fragrant maquis

A succession of small coves

After the Belambra hotel, the scenery becomes magical: facing you, the other shore of the Gulf of Valinco, the headland of Porto-Pollo, and at your feet, a succession of small coves lined with large round rocks. The sea, in all its shades of blue, sparkles under the effect of the foam.

It’s an ideal spot for snorkelling: mask, snorkel and get in the water! The surrounding maquis offers a mix of yellow, red and blue flowers in spring, perfect for nature photography.

🏖️La large beach

Capu Laurosu

The path is lined with wooden trellises and the ground is beaten earth. You then arrive at one of the longest beaches in Valinco: Capu Laurosu beach, which stretches for almost 3 kilometres on either side of the mouth of the Rizzanèse.

In the distance, on a hillock jutting out into the sea, you can make out a stocky silhouette: the Genoese tower of Campomoro. Time permitting, a visit is a must!
