Traditions
Once the hustle and bustle of summer is over, the region adopts a whole new rhythm, where you take time to admire the landscapes and savour the flavours of autumn. From the coast to the highest peaks, Corsica is decked out in its fawn-coloured robes. Always faithful to their religious traditions, the inhabitants of each village gather together at All Saints’ Day to pay their respects. It’s also the cosiest time of year, with chestnuts roasting on an open fire, mushroom picking and spectacular sunsets over the sea. It’s the perfect time to recharge your batteries and savour the authenticity of the island.
