Description
The village of Bilia is hosting a new Cinédoc evening dedicated to documentary and arthouse cinema.
The screening will begin with the presentation of two student short films, ‘Bilia’ and ‘King Fan’, directed by Jean Portier, a film student at the IAD in Louvain-la-Neuve.
The evening will continue with the film *L’été de Giacomo* by Alessandro Comodin (78 mins, 2012).
In the heart of the countryside in northern Italy, Giacomo, a deaf teenager, meets up with his friend Stefania for a summer’s day by the river.
Venturing off the beaten track, the two young people find themselves alone in an idyllic setting where freedom, friendship and self-discovery intertwine during a timeless interlude.
Potluck: everyone is invited to bring a speciality dish or something to share in a friendly atmosphere.
Free admission.
