Fabrice and Jean-Michel Andreani, surrounded by renowned musicians, sing about a contemporary Corsica, deeply rooted in its roots, but always keen to keep an eye on the future.
Between traditional music and contemporary rhythms, I Messageri flirt with world music to create a music without borders, where Corsica binds people together.
As they sing, the voices and melodies weave and soar, touching the incense-coloured nave of a church, the illuminated ceiling of a theatre, the starlit sky of a village square, and return like a refrain, already adopted to accompany the long days.
Founded by the Andreani brothers in 1996, the group has become a fixture on the Corsican music scene.
With five albums to their name and numerous concerts to their name all over Europe, I Messageri have never ceased to bring their powerful songs to an ever-growing audience.
And so I Messageri continue on their way, guided by an unshakeable desire for creativity, in the service of a music in constant motion.
