Talk: “Corsica in the 1950s”, followed by a book signing with the authors Jean-Paul Cappuri, Jean-Richard Graziani, Jean-Marc Raffaelli and Xavier Grimaldi.
Through their richly illustrated book, the authors invite the public to discover a pivotal decade in the contemporary history of Corsica.
Politics, the economy, transport, culture, sport, news stories, everyday life and social change: the 1950s are brought to life through extensive research, enriched by numerous personal accounts and rare photographs, some of which have never been published before.
The talk will be followed by a Q&A session with the audience, then a book-signing.
