The church of Notre-Dame de la Miséricorde in Propriano was built between 1868 and 1881. Its bell tower, completed in 1881, harmoniously completes the architecture of the building.
The church square overlooking the village offers a panoramic view of the entire Gulf of Valinco. Built of granite and ashlar, the church stands out for its robustness and the quality of its materials. It is covered in mechanical hollow tiles, typical of the region. The interior boasts a rich architectural décor, punctuated by several types of vault, notably barrel vaults and lunettes, which contribute to the elegance and solemnity of the place.
