Description
To mark European Heritage Days, Argiusta-Moriccio is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Festa di i Sensi on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September 2026.
For this anniversary edition, the event will focus on ‘E Stradi di u Sali – The Salt Routes’, exploring the links between Brittany, Corsica and the Alpes-Maritimes.
Throughout the weekend, the village will become a true hub for discovery, encounters and the sharing of knowledge: talks, exhibitions, walks exploring the local heritage and flora, a farmers’ market, cookery demonstrations, tastings, guided tours and traditional Corsican songs will provide the backdrop to these two days.
Saturday 19 September
From 9.00 am, the festival and the farmers’ market open, followed by talks on the history and uses of salt. Mediterranean cookery demonstrations, tastings of Sartène and Ajaccio AOP wines, a botanical walk and on-site catering will round off the day.
At 9.00 pm, an evening of traditional Corsican and Mediterranean songs.
Sunday 20 September
A day dedicated to pastoralism, transhumance and the salt routes, with talks from 9.00 am, a tasting of Sartène and Ajaccio PDO wines at 12.30 pm and a meal prepared by various chefs from 1 pm, in aid of the project to restore the Pian di Selva mountain pastures.
Throughout the weekend: exhibitions, tours of the village’s heritage sites and a farmers’ market, with agricultural, food and craft products on sale.
An authentic event in the heart of the Taravo Valley to discover a living heritage, meet the people who keep it alive, and share the skills and traditions of Corsica and the Mediterranean.
