Running time: 1 hour 50 minutes Genre: War, Historical Directed by Éric Barbier Written by Éric Barbier Starring Alban Ivanov, Birane Ba, Alexandra Lamy Synopsis Suitable for all ages 1915. War is uncharted territory, and Justin, a poor peasant, is sent off to fight at a time when he should be tending his fields. He must go off to fight, in the name of a law he knows nothing about, against an enemy he has never seen, when all he dreams of is staying on his farm. His encounter with Basile, a Senegalese infantryman, will open his eyes to this war he does not understand. It is alongside him that he will rebel against the injustices of an absurd chain of command, and become a hero unlike any other. Inspired by Jean Pompougnac’s *Justin-le-Juste* or *La charrette*.
