Students from the Andaghjina di l’Artisti sing “I Messageri” (Advanced Training Programme in Contemporary Singing at the Corsican Centre for Polyphonic Art)
Following the carte blanche given to Felì in 2025 and the tour of rural areas, the Corsican Centre for Polyphonic Art and its
professional training course in contemporary singing are drawing on the repertoire of the group I MESSAGERI, under the direction of Brice Lebert.
Since 2022, the Corsican Polyphonic Art Centre in Sartène has been running a professional training course in contemporary singing: the ‘Andaghjina di l’Artisti’, comprising over 16 hours of weekly lessons and masterclasses throughout the year, enabling students to develop their vocal skills through a variety of musical styles.
The group, founded by the ANDREANI brothers in 1996, is now a key player on the Corsican music scene. With five albums to their name and having performed numerous concerts across Europe, I MESSAGERI have continued to bring their songs with powerful lyrics to an ever-growing audience over the years.
Fabrice and Jean-Michel ANDREANI, accompanied by renowned musicians, sing of a contemporary Corsica, deeply rooted in its heritage yet always looking to the future. Blending traditional music with contemporary rhythms, I MESSAGERI embrace world music to create a sound without borders, where Corsica brings people together. As the songs unfold, the voices and melodies intertwine, soar, touch the nave of a church scented with incense, the ceiling
of a theatre, the starry sky above a village square, and return like a refrain, already adopted to accompany us through the days.
