As part of its extra-curricular programme, Propriano Municipal Theatre invites you to a special concert by the LIBARI Corsican polyphonic singing group on Thursday 18 June at 7.15pm in Propriano Church.
LIBARI - Between heritage and creation
When tradition meets renewal, LIBARI is born.
Born of the Riacquistu movement and emblematic figures on the Corsican music scene for over 30 years, its members have left their mark on major groups such as Surghjenti and Canta u Populu Corsu.
Today, they are uniting their voices and talents in a demanding, deeply embodied artistic project.
LIBARI offers a sensitive, contemporary reinterpretation of Corsica's musical heritage. Between sacred polyphony, revisited secular songs and original compositions, the group weaves a sound universe where tradition is elegantly reinvented.
On stage, the power of the voices blends with the finesse of the arrangements to create a moment of rare intensity. Each performance becomes an immersive experience, an invitation to feel emotion in its purest form.
