Description
Located about 10 minutes from Propriano, in the Gulf of Valinco, Portigliolo beach is one of the largest in Southern Corsica, stretching for nearly 4 km of fine sand. Its crystal-clear water, gentle slope and shallow depths near the sailing club make it an ideal spot for families and swimming enthusiasts.
Towards the mouth of the Rizzanese, the beach takes on a wilder, unspoilt character, perfect for long walks along the water’s edge. On the other side of the river, the unspoilt beach at Capu Lauroso extends this exceptional natural area.
In bad weather, the sea can quickly become dangerous due to strong waves. The utmost caution is advised.
