Description
Near the hamlet of Tizzano lies Cala d’Avena beach, which lies right next to Pointe Lattoniccia.
This sandy beach is family-friendly, with plenty of shops nearby and direct access by car. It gets very busy in summer – a far cry from the unspoilt beaches of Sartène. It remains a very pleasant spot, with lush greenery to the south.
To get to this beach, follow signs for Sartène via the RT40. Before reaching Sartène, turn off onto the D48 towards Tizzano.
