The Petreto-Bicchisano Media Library is hosting Joseph-Antoine d’Ornano for a talk followed by a book-signing session to mark the publication of his new book, *Une saison inventée*.
In this book, the author continues his quest for ‘moments of secret life’, which began with *La grâce ou l’éloge des commencements* (2021) and continued with *Instantanés sereins* (2023).
This time, it is the public garden that inspires his pen and his brush: a place of encounters, confidences and passing moments where children and the elderly, lovers and loners cross paths, in an atmosphere conducive to the sensitive observation of everyday life.
As both a painter and a poet, Joseph-Antoine d’Ornano delicately explores these ordinary spaces, which reveal the richness of human emotions and the understated beauty of shared moments.
