Description
Paris, 1942. Whilst the city is under the Occupation, seven friends gather round a table to celebrate a birthday.
But the evening takes a dramatic turn when, at the foot of their block of flats, two German officers are shot dead.
The Gestapo storm the premises and demand two hostages from each flat.
Commander Kaubach, who knows the host personally, grants them a cruel reprieve: they may finish their meal… before choosing for themselves the two guests who will be taken away.
Amidst fear, tension, cowardice and revelations, *Le Repas des Fauves* plunges the audience into the heart of a gripping, closed-door drama where masks come off and everyone is forced to face their choices.
Adapted and directed by Julien Sibre, based on the play by Vahé Katcha, this production won three Molière Awards: Best Production, Best Direction and Best Adaptation.
