Description
Nestled in the heart of the maquis, amongst rockroses, myrtles and heather, the Micalona Tower bears witness to the ancient network of towers that once ensured the surveillance and defence of the Corsican coastline.
Long owned by the same family and having gradually fallen into ruin, it was bought by a lover of old buildings and subsequently restored in keeping with traditional methods.
Surrounded by scrubland, its restored silhouette now blends seamlessly into the Valinco coastal landscape.
