Description
Perched on a rocky outcrop at Capu di Senetosa, the Senetosa Tower offers a remarkable panoramic view of the rugged coastline and the Mediterranean. The surrounding landscape alternates between maquis, granite boulders and secluded coves, set within an unspoilt coastline.
Built of granite and standing 11 metres tall, this round tower dominates the headland and bears witness to the former coastal surveillance system of Corsica.
The tower can be explored in particular along the coastal path from Campomoro to Senetosa, one of the most beautiful walks in the Sartenais Valinco Taravo region.
