Description
Every Friday, the Sartenais-Valinco-Taravo Tourist Office organises a discovery tour to one of the estates in the Sartenais wine region.
On the programme: the history of wine in Corsica, the island’s grape varieties, traditional winemaking techniques, a tour of the vineyards and a tasting in the cellars…
Setting off from Propriano, David leads a small group of around twenty people and takes them to meet local winegrowers.
To round off this ‘locavore’ experience, the wine tasting is accompanied by Corsican sausage and Sartenaise tomme, produced respectively by our local producers, Salameria Cianferani and the Mallaroni cheese dairy.
Departure at 9am from Propriano coach station and return by late morning; return minibus transport included.
