Every year, these events provide aunique opportunity to meet the producers, craftspeople, farmers and artists who bring the local heritage to life with passion. In the Sartenais Valinco Taravo region, these rural fairs are an essential cultural, craft and culinary meeting place for authentic flavours.

They are a meeting place for locals and tourists alike, giving you the chance to meet the region’s producers and craftspeople.
The various events on offer – games for children, demonstrations, veal on the spit, Corsican songs – are also an opportunity to spend a convivial day with the family.

Corsica’s craft fairs, devoted to products with a strong Corsican identity such as charcuterie, cheese, wine, essential oils, honey,olives and many other island specialities, are a delight for epicureans.

The Filitosa Fair

Located just a stone’s throw from the famous megalithic site, the Filitosa fair takes you on a journey through the centuries. Held in the height of summer, it showcases local produce, handcrafted goods and farming and pastoral traditions against a backdrop steeped in history. Savour authentic flavours – cheeses, charcuterie, honey and Corsican wines – whilst discovering the secrets of a region at the crossroads of time.

Granace Fair

The Granace Fair, a craft and cultural fair, is an invitation to explore. As you stroll through the shaded alleyway, let yourself be guided by the artisans, who take pride in their work and are eager to share the secrets of their traditions.

The fair takes place over a single day, with stalls brimming with local produce: olive oils, wines, cured meats and handcrafted souvenirs – it’s very hard not to give in to the temptations.

At sunset, the fair lights up with a thousand lights. Fairy lights and colourful lanterns create a magical atmosphere to the rhythm of Corsican songs.
A truly convivial and communal experience.
