Day 1Farmers' markets and archaeological site

Discover local flavours at the Petreto-Bicchisano farmers’ market, before visiting the prehistoric site of Filitosa.

Here you’ll be overwhelmed by the sight of these thousand-year-old stones set amidst centuries-old olive trees. Continuing towards Propriano, stop off at Olmeto, a typically Corsican village offering a heritage trail through its narrow streets.

      Day 2Roccapina

      Discover Roccapina: its wild beach, turquoise bay and famous lion, a natural granite sculpture. For an exceptional panoramic view of the coast of Sarten to the far south of the island, climb the path through the scrubland that leads to the remains of a Genoese tower. On the way back, visit the Casa di Roccapina and its interpretation trail to learn more about the history of the site. Make a well-deserved stopover at a farmhouse inn and feast on authentic local cuisine.

        Day 3Genoese tower

        Campomoro, a typical fishing village, is the starting point for a hike in a natural site protected by the Conservatoire du Littoral. Stroll up to the Genoese tower for a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Valinco, all the way to the Aiguilles de Bavella.

        Day 4Sartène

        Head for Sartène, where you’ll discover a medieval town with picturesque alleyways. Learn a little history with the audioguide or visit the archaeology museum, which traces human occupation of Corsica from the beginning of the 9th millennium BC to the end of the Iron Age.

            🕙 The tower is open every day from April to November at the following times:

            – 4 April to 14 June: 10 am to 6 pm
            – 15 June to 15 September: 9am to 1.30pm and 3.30pm to 7.30pm
            – From 16 September to 1 November: 10 am to 6 pm.

            Last admission 15 minutes before closing time.

            Admission: €2.5 (free for children under 12)

          • Filitosa archaeological site

            Open every day from 9am to 7pm

            Admission: adults: €9 / concessions (disabled people and children aged 6 to 17): €7 / free under 6 / Family (2 adults + 2 children): €28

            Parking on site

          • Audio tour of Sartène

            Ask at the Sartène Tourist Office to book your audio-guide.

            Duration: approximately 1h30 – Available in French, Italian and English.

            Price: €5

          • Petreto-Bicchisano Farmers' Market

            🍇 + ☀️ = Farmers’ market from 9am to 1pm every day, all year round.

            🍇 + 🏠 = Producers’ shop in the afternoon from 4pm to 6.45pm (except Sunday AM)
