FULL MOON – Murtoli’s signature summer event
On 9 August, Murtoli celebrates one of the summer’s most eagerly awaited events with the return of its legendary FULL MOON, an exceptional evening where music, fine dining and nature come together under the full moon.
Overlooking the Mediterranean, at the Bar and the Table de la Plage, let yourself be swept away by a unique artistic creation blending Corsican polyphonic singing, piano and the power of an operatic voice. An immersive experience designed to showcase the beauty of the Corsican coastline in the light of the full moon.
Throughout dinner, the piano melodies performed by Valérie Hoarau and Patrice Raya will interplay with the spellbinding voices of Inseme – Canti Nustrali, an iconic ensemble on the Corsican music scene comprising Charles Rutili, Philippe Rutili, Sébastien Ottavi, Cyril Tomasi, Marc-Antoine Leandri and Ludovic Marcaggi. As heirs to the Cantu Nustrale tradition, they movingly convey the full richness of Corsican polyphony, blending spirituality, cultural transmission and a deep attachment to the island. Their voices, accompanied by acoustic guitars, offer a striking immersion into the soul of Corsica.
For this year’s event, an opera singer will enhance this musical creation, offering a unique dialogue between classical music, traditional Corsican songs and the piano. A rare artistic encounter, conceived as a celebration of the full moon, Corsican cultural heritage and the distinctive Murtoli way of life.
Combining a live concert, a gourmet dinner by the sea, Corsican polyphonic singing, piano and a starry sky, FULL MOON has become THE unmissable evening event of the summer in Southern Corsica. A moment suspended in time, where every note seems to converse with the sea, the stars and the moon.
